The Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas call us to respond to the critical needs of our times. Because of that, Sisters from the South Central Community are active at national, state and local levels where government policy decisions are made. Policy made in the United States affects the world, and it is important we express our concerns to legislators about the impact of their decisions. A number of methods are available to us, including e-mail, writing letters, making phone calls, and face-to-face meetings with legislators.
